APDT Conference Fall 2010, Atlanta, GA
The 2010 Association of Pet Dog Trainers Conference was held in Atlanta, GA. It was a great educational experience, the highlight of which was meeting Dr. Temple Grandin. She is a fascinating woman, author of several books, advocate of those with autism and of animals. Her wisdom and insight into the minds of dogs is truly awesome. I highly recommend reading her book entitled “Animals in Translation: Using the Mysteries of Autism to Decode Animal Behavior”. Victoria was there too!
