Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) Seminar 2013
I attended the 5 day Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) seminar for instructors in April 2013. BAT is a technique developed by Grisha Stewart that tackles dog/dog aggression. It involves teaching reactive dogs alternate behaviors. Rather than reacting by barking, growling and lunging at other dogs, the dogs learn to disengage and are given more control over their environment and situation. This seminar also involved leash handling skills for the trainers.
