Clicker Expo 2014, Norfolk, VA
We were lucky enough to have Clicker Expo almost in our back yard this year! The bi-annual conference was an event that I had wanted to attend for a long time, but travel budgets and time constraints made it difficult. This year, I could not believe my good luck, when I found out that Clicker Expo was being held right here in Norfolk, VA. Not only did I attend GREAT behavior sessions with some truly fantastic speakers, I was able to reconnect with old friends and make many new ones, all in the dog training field. It was also great to meet so many that I know via social media. Putting a real person to the posts and tweets was simply fantastic. I also had the great pleasure of hosting Daniela Cardillo, fellow VSPDT from Milan, Italy, who also attended the conference. It was great to spend time with her and learn new things. It was also great to spend time with another VSPDT, Abigail Witthauer, from Birmingham, AL. We all had a blast!
