VSPDT Conference, Atlanta 2013
I was honored to be a featured speaker at the bi-annual VSPDT Conference, held in September 2013, in Atlanta, GA. The topic of my presentation was on the benefits of being a volunteer trainer in a shelter environment. I was the volunteer trainer at Portsmouth Humane Society for 3 years and developed and implemented a program that the staff and volunteers could run with. The presentation was very well received and everyone enjoyed it.
